No prior kayaking experience is necessary. Our guides provide a safety and paddling briefing at the start and ensure the pace and difficulty suit the group. It’s beginner-friendly and perfect for families and first-timers

Our tours are always at a very relaxed pace — we’ve never asked anyone to paddle faster. It’s about enjoying the journey, not racing to the destination (even though the views and history are amazing!). Absolutely! This tour is ideal for kids, as it beautifully combines outdoor adventure with fun historical learning. Children aged 6 and up are welcome, as long as they’re comfortable in the water and accompanied by an adult. We use double kayaks for parents and children, and always adjust the pace and route to suit the group.

Acronafplia Fortress and Palamidi Fortress sit high on the cliffs and cannot be accessed by sea, so we paddle right beneath their impressive walls to appreciate their scale and history. Bourtzi Castle is visible from the harbor lighthouse, and while we cannot land on the island due to port restrictions, we share the rich history of Bourtzi and the rest of the castles from the comfort of our kayaks.

The tour runs year-round but is best enjoyed in mild weather — spring through autumn — when the sea is calm and the temperatures comfortable.

We don’t require participants to be particularly fit — we trust you to decide whether you’re comfortable joining. If you have any health conditions, feel free to let us know in advance so we can support you accordingly. We’ve proudly welcomed people with disabilities on our tours.

We use fast and stable sit-in sea kayaks that make paddling very easy, even for beginners.

Safety is our top priority. If the weather conditions are unsafe (e.g. strong winds), we may adjust the route, reschedule, or offer a full refund if cancellation is necessary.
